hey so i started again heres what iv got done in half an hour. i didnt drill the holes in the nubs where the tubing goes on yet because its easier to tig weld them on when their not a 1/4 inch thick
You should make it baffled and have a filter as well.
i do have some deflectors i made i think they might work i dunno ill wait so i can try it and make other ones so i know what works best but one that my brotherinlaw bought was just a cyclinder with to fittings on it to let air pass through so i really dont know its all testing right now
A filter is a must to keep the oil in the catch can, without one, the can basically does nothing. Most of the oil caught will recirculate back into the intake.
Just a tiny screen on the outlet. |
looking good :smilie_da

so i finally welded some of the parts on, ok so this is alumminum and im tig welding, iv started tig welding this semester so give me some slack you can see what welds i did first and the second ones i did wich are way better. i basically had to try different ways of going to weld it and well after a while i found the best way. iv basically learned how to tig properly on this one project although their is still alot more practice till im real good.
