Thanks

Why do you think?
When creating "boost" whether it be s/c or turbo the air becomes hotter with pressure and not with all applications of supercharging you cant run a water to air cooler or a intercooler...so an alternative is using a small shot of nitrous because nitrous is a cooler charge and cools the intake air making it less likely for detonation and make more power safely...thats why with turbo applications alot of ppl like the intercooler charge from NX to make really good power and with little to no more strain on the motor...thats my understanding.

Exactly. As well some out where I am are running diesel with a propane shot!!! Weird I know.... I don't know if I would try a nitrous shot though with my supercharger. That leaves a whole lot of room for something really bad to go wrong.

But the nitrous is not being used to make power like one would think.
Its like a SC or Turbo car with out a intercooler. U add a intercooler u can pick up HP from the air being cooled down and run more bosst. With nitrous u can run say a 25 shot and use that to cool the air going into the motor and end up making 50 75 more HP. As well some turbo cars have used the nitrous to spool up the turbos as well.

^Yes. More so in turbo apps, I've heard of people adding small shots of nitrous to "minimize" a lot of the turbo lag associated with spool up.
