XScargo boxes

Does anybody know if the sub boxes at XScargo are garbage or not? Cause they're cheap, and i figure a box is a box right?

The $20 10" ones are made out of 1/2" particle board.

A box is not a box.
A good box will be made out of MDF, and at least 5/8" stuff, preferably 3/4".

You get what you pay for.

Boxes

Viperoni is 100% right... A box is NOT a box.....There is a lot of factors that go in a good box...Material, how its sealed, port size etc...etc..

So I wouldn't suggest getting that box!....If you seriously want and are ok with tools...make ur own...there are soo many websites that can give u box calculators and all that. Go to home depot get some 3/4 or 1" MDF, and some liquid nail and all the neccesary hardware and go buck!

GOOD LUCK

I bought two diff boxes from XScargo and they both sound in shitty.

Either save your cash for something a lot better or like the prev people meantioned make your own.

I had a single 12" XScargo box and i hated it and got a Bassworkx 3/4 inch MDF box at futureshop and the sound it about twice as loud and way clearer.

I found the XS boxes are just nailed or stapled togther and the wood they use is cut very rough and very weak.(I put my foot thru the cheap XS chargo boxes with ease!)

So you definately get what u pay for! :knock_tee
