just joined, been lookin to buy my first car for about 7 months. Basically i have narrowed it down to a 3000gt or 240sx. preferably the 3000gt from 94-96 or a 240sx kouki (97-98) and so i'll continue my search until i found the right car. Just wanted to say Hey.

Yeah they are quite opposite :hypnotize but i love em both. And unfortunately no i'm not lookin into a vr-4 basically because i don't have the money to keep her running! They are so horrible on maintenance and a part time job while going to school isn't exactly going to be able to pay all the bills. Man i am getting sick of lookin for a car, getting a little impatient!! Hopefully one comes up soon or i may just go with a 89-94 240sx if i can find one in good shape. Ugh, i hate how much harder it is to find cars up here as opposed to the states, they have such better selection!

Trust me, i have had massive debates over the pros and cons of both in my mind :loser: and basically, both sides are so damn good at arguing i'll just get whichever one i find first in the right condition, at the right price.

Why don't you import from the states? It's not too difficult and it gives you a lot more to choose from :)

oh trust me, i've looked into the process. But ultimately my parents have the final say...and they are old-style, close-minded, stubborn, ...people:hypnotize And it would take months of argueing to finally convince them to let me buy and import from the US.. trust me, it's sickening...but i only have to live with it one more year.

I'd wait then, save your cash, and go balls-out once your parents have cut the leash :)
