Welcome, Cant say I like your car or your gfs but welcome. |
Welcome to the family! I respect a lot of what you've done to your car. Lot of hard work there.
|
Yea, thats me. I did my girls whole car in fuzz. But thats what she wanted, so thats all that matters. You can hate the fuzzy interior all you want, but all that matters to me is that the interior is done right, and she is happy cause it's how she wants it. It looks really wild in person and she has won Best Interior trophies over alot of cars with full fiberglassed interiors and more just because it is different. So go and hate all you want. I can hate to.

welcome man
|
welcome any other pics of your car? i love how the hood comes down!

I was thinking I hope the AC works cause man that would be hotter than hell. Not hatin' on anyone here, just havin a little fun. So does she use a brush to get the interior ready for a show? How do you prep that? I would imagine it gets pressed down and matted.
Nice work on your car BTW. You have a ton of custom stuff that is rarely seen on Camaros. Only thing that doesn't work for me is the size rims. To each their own though....It is all you. Do they rub any on the inner wells? I know mine are like 1/4 inch away when turned all the way. |
Yea, the A/C works in hers luckly. It does get hot as **** in the summer. But in the winter it holds heat pretty good. LOL. It does get a little patted down, mainly the seats, we try not to touch much else. But it's pretty easy to prep for a show, probably easier than you think. All we do is vacuum everything, and that gets it right back fluffy. My tweed is actually a little harder to prep, cause I actually have to brush that to get the dust out of it from sitting in the shop.
Thanks for the compliments on my car. The size of rims was really just me trying to prove people wrong and stuff. Cause my car has been painted and sitting on 20s for over 3yrs now, and it has been bagged for 4yrs. Well eventually some of the other camaros around here started getting 20s, so being at the show with 20s on a camaro was no big deal, so I stepped it up to 22s and it took a little work to fit them, so hopefully not to many people will be willing to fit them. So now at the show's everybody knows about the camaro that was slammed on 22s, so thats why I did it. Actually about the rubbing, I don't really drive my car at all, so they definately would not be good at all for driving, but I grinded all the inner fender lips off all the way to the fender and did some other things also. But with the airbags lifted all the way up, I clear them and I am able to turn all the way with no rubbing. |
welcome to the site

welcome to the site and yea ur car is crazy alot of good custom work
|
Well I'll give you that - you are the ONLY camaro I've ever seen with 22s. For that you have my respect. And the fact you went away from the spinners gets more respect.
So are you done with her? Or what else is in store? Cars like yours (even though some things I wouldnt do) i love watching the progress on. Hell, i go to your cardoming from time to time to see the evolution from the white with flames to now and it's very impressive. |
No, I'm not done yet. This is just the beginning. LOL. Next on the list is getting all of the performance stuff that I have been saving up for a long time now in my garage installed. Hopefully the engine will be coming out very soon in the next couple weekends. I have a custom Precision Turbo kit w/front mount intercooler, ZZP 4.1 Stroker kit (only bad thing is because of the stroker kit, the crank will be the weakest part of the engine and I will only be able to boost 9lbs with the built engine ,so that kinda sucks but ohh well), cam, pistons, new drivetrain, and pretty much all the usual engine internals. When the motor comes out I'm taking alot of the stuff on the engine and in the bay to the chromer. I'm also getting the engine bay sprayed the same color as the car, instead of just being black. Then after this step of doing the engine is done. It's back to the body shop for new fiberglassed interior and more body mods, I'm still keeping the same paint though.

How hard was doing the hood like that? Not that I'm planning it just very unique.
|
For the hood, I got a guy in my car club to do it for me. He used old school buick hinges, but he had to modify them alot. He also had to put metal reinforcements inside my fiberglass hood for the hinges to bolt onto. He also made some tracks in the back part of the engine compartment for the back of the hood to follow, he put some kinda rollers attached where the factory hinges were to run on the tracks. I think that is the basics of it, but I'm not really sure cause I didn't do it myself.

pics man.. lots of pics.. and detailed ones at that.. im pretty handy i can prob duplicate it. id love to when my ultra-z hood gets here
