1992 Honda Accord A/C Recharge?

I have a 1992 Honda Accord Sedan and I want to know what I would have to do to recharge an a/c and see if it has a leak and also how much could it cost me

Some places offer a/c checks (in my area) for about 29.95. to accurately check for a leak you must evacuate your a/c system (suck all the freon out) add a dye, and recharge the system and allow it to pressurize, then check with a UV light to find the leaky area(s). Besides the cost of Freon (varies R-12 is more expensive than R-134a; R-12 for older systems) if there are no leaks it should just be the hookup fee, labor, and the cost of freon. This is a general estimate, but Freon around here goes for about $10.00/lb for R-12 and about $5.00/lb for R-134a, most small cars sytem hold between 1lb-2.5lbs of freon.
