2001 Honda Accord Seat Belt?

I have a 2001 Honda Accord EX-V6 and my rear center seat belt is stuck latched. Someone sat in the seat and put the seat belt on and it wouldn't unlatch. The seat belt clicked in like normal and i keep my car very clean so I am almost certain nothing is lodged in the mechanism but what else could it be? They ended up having to pull the seat belt all the way out and slide out of it. Has anyone had this problem? Does anyone have any suggestions?

The car is no longer under warranty.

try opening the thing you put the buckle in, I remember their is some kind of button to do that in my car, not sure it will be in yours. Try going to a mechanic im sure he will only charge like 20 dollars at the most to fix it. If you dont want to go to a mechanic, my friend did this to his old car and it worked. Get a hammer, take the buckle holder and hit it with a hammer not to hard tho while trying to pull the seatbelt. they may have just jammed the mechanism. if it frees up, work hit the buckle holder several times to make sure its going to work. if not, something may have given out, and a salvage yard, or new replacement is necessary. hope i helped you. any more questions, please send them to me
