My 2003 Honda Accord LX (Certified) is making a strange noise (like a diesel engine) upon startup while in drive. It sounds like very loud valves, but the valves have been adjusted by the dealer without any affect. Dealership diagnosed the noise to be coming from the lower half of the engine. They have torn engine apart and everything is within tolerance and having no excessive wear.































Dealership is asking me to pay for work performed even though engine, drive train and transmission are covered by Honda Certified Warranty Program.
