I've always heard that there are no real signs of a timing belt going bad...they just break or slip suddenly. Usually when it's dark and rainy and you're far from home...

Usually timing chains or belts give little to no warning, your ignition timing will be out of specs. and your car will run horribly if at all. If belt or chain breaks while you are driving be sure to stop and turn off car, thus resulting in further damage .

The Timing Belt gives no notice.... You usually have to change it each xx,xxx miles depending on the belt quality.... one small sign is when you start accelerating your Honda hard if you feel theres not enough power its time to change it...
