97 Honda Accord V6: Interference engine?
considering purchase of 100k+ car. Seller says hasn't replaced timing belt, but not big deal, as car has non-interference engine, therefore broken TB will only leave me stranded, not destroy engine. Does this sound right?

That sounds a little shady to me. All Honda engines I have worked on have had non-interference engines (not trying to say all Honda engines). If you want to buy the car, I would get the car towed home or to a shop to get it changed before you take the chance of the belt breaking. Even if it has a interference engine, if the belt breaks, you will still need to get the engine timed again.
