Brake Grinding Noises?

I have a 2008 Honda Accord and it has about 30k miles on it and recently it was making grinding noises when I was driving 60+ miles on the highway. Well I got concern and I took it into the dealers thinking maybe they can find what was causing the noise. At first I thought about new break pads, but then I was like it might be something else. Well to make the long story short the dealership told me that when the rotter got to hot it was making the break pads expand and that's where the noise was coming from. They change the brake pads and fix the rotter.

I just got the car back this afternoon and I took it for a test drive to see if it would do it again and sure enough after 30mins of driving it was making the grinding noise again while driving and I would press on the breaks just a little and the noise would get worst then I came to a full stop and continue driving after I stopped and the noise went away. Can anyone out there help me out with this problem and give me enough feed back before I take it in to the dealers?

Brakes work the best when it is warm temperature. However if you heat it too fast it is not a very good thing and you may experience what is happening here. Try to apply the brakes gently when it is cold and especially right after a brake pad replacement. It take about 50-150 miles for the new pads to start working properly and the brake working at 100%.
