honda accord durability question?
 

im looking to upgrade my 2000 chevy cavalier, to a new body honda accord (2003 and up) i just saw a 2003 honda accord with 86k miles on it for 11k...how long will these cars typically last (mileage) on average.. i know it varies person to person, and how good they take care of the car, but wats a typical number.? i need this car to last me at least 4 years while im in college..thanks

I currently own and drive a 1988 Honda Accord it has over 200,000 miles on it and still going strong!

I own a 1999 Honda Accord, and it's a great car with over 140,000 miles.It's still going, and I drive it 3 hours plus on road trips every other Sunday.I've put 40,000 on it since I got it less than a year ago.idk if I'd pay 11k for that car, maybe haggle for 9k or so...but it's up to you. I can almost guaruntee that you'll be running that Accord way longer than 4 more years if you want to!

I've been told by a mechanic that if you take care of a Honda it will last up to 300,000 miles! They are great cars.
