How stable is a 2000 honda accord lx?

I'm getting a 2000 honda accord lx (vtec engine)...how well does it perform in wet weather? Reason why I ask is because I have a 88' honda accord dx currently and it does not do very well in wet weather..wants to hydroplane.

If your car not good in the rain your car have to change the suspension. This car's suspension is a little soft.

I have to totally agree with the other answers, but I have a 2000 Honda Civic EX and it is fabulous. Then again I take great care of it, so that's probably why it runs so well for me :)

Our family has three Honda products, two are sedans, an '00 Accord LX V6, and an '06 TL. IMO, Honda did an excellent job in setting up the chassis & suspension on this car...it seem well balanced. Personally, I tend to get a bit 'spirited' with the car on So Cal highways. The car has never given me any problems in inliment weather. I run Michellin Harmony tires...great all-around tire for this car.
