I have a 1993 Honda Accord..... please help me out.....?

I have a 1993 Honda Accord, 5 speed, and when I change the gears (clutch engaged) the engine revs. Does anybody know what this could be and how could I fix it??? thanks alot for all the help.....

When I go from 1st to 2nd (for example), As soon as I engage the clutch the RPM's will go UP instead of dropping DOWN....... and it will make a revving sound.....

At one time when i would first start the car It would Rev up high like it would keep going up and down, up and down and sometimes if i would push the gas down a couple of times it would stop, well i got that fixed and now i just need to know if anyone might know why it revs when i engage the clutch to change the gears and YES i do let off the gas when i change the gears

noise is probably coming from your clutch plates. Do you feel any sudden jerks when you shift the gear? does it take a while for the gear to be engaged once you release the clutch?

When was the last time you had the clutch serviced?

are you pulling your foot off the gas pedal when you shift ??

check for binding accelerator cable .. sticky butterfly at the throttle body ...

because you are asking this question i assume you are hoping for a simple fix which there probably isnt one. try stepping on the gas a few times hard there might be a sticking on the throttle or in the peddle itself. otherwise take it to a local shop and get it checked out
