I have 1994 honda accord that the dash lights do not work?

I have 1994 honda accord that the dash lights do not work?
the light for the gear position indicator stays on except when you turn on the headlights this light goes off and the dash lights will not come on. any ideas?

try changing the one of the fueses it could be burnt, their is a box of fueses under the hood the box should be black, open it and ( you may need some force to get it open) and check if their is a burmt one
