My mom wont sign me to this car because it has 70,000 miles on it. But
it's a 2002 Honda Accord! Do u agree .. to not buy that car?? The car looks like it's really in good shape. It's a 2002 Honda Accord 2dCoupe. The no haggle price is $9,998. Do you agree with my mother to not sign me to that car with that milage? Thank you for your help.

If you want the car buy it yourself.

70,000 miles is nothing for a Honda or Toyota. If you try to find a car with less mileage, the price will be significantly higher. A lower mileage car would probably be a lease return vehicle. Those are often advertised as 'Honda Certified', or something to that effect, letting them increase the price significantly. If the car you're looking at has a clean Carfax report, the paint all looks the same color (walk around it in daylight and look for spots where the paint is slightly not matching), and there is no rust (likely not a problem), and you like how it drives, go for it. Good luck.

To say it simply a 5 year old car with 70k miles isn't bad, especially a Honda. In today's day and age 70k miles is not even close to breaking point.

Sounds like a good deal to me

Hi Loren, First , I would say 70,000 miles in 5 yrs is not very much on the car. I would say that is pretty good , BUT how about the rest of the car. Who drove it. Like, a little old lady etc. Has it had any major work on it? Is the body ok. Are the floors ok. Meaning they arenot going to go through. Has the car been sitting long. These are the things I would check. Maybe your mom knows more about the car than you think. Good luck..
