is it possible???

is it possible for me to replace a V-6 engine for a 96 honda accord with a 4 cylinder 94 honda ccord...if not where can i purchase a engine for a 96 V-6 at a reasonable price

Yes a 94 can be made to fit but none of the mounts to the frame or transmission will match which will require a lot more time money and labor. Your better off trying to get a crate motor from the dealer.

Yes it is possible. It would be alot more than just "replacing" the engine though. I would not do this. The v6 and 4 cylinder cars are very different. I am almost positive that the front of your car is actually longer! I would expect the transmission, computer, wiring harness, axles and alot of other things would also need to be changed. Try car-part.com. That is an online surplus of parts from different junkyards. You could aslo check some JDM websites, the offer engines with low mileage from Japan (the engines are the same). Good luck!
