Owner has all records - oil changed regularly etc - highway miles commuting 70 miles each way a day - very clean inside

KBB is $5600 with that many miles

No, don't buy it. The v6 transmissions had lots of problems from 1998-2002. There are many recalls on them, and a class action lawsuit.

With over 200,000 miles on any car, you have to start questioning how the car has been cared for, what parts have been replaced, etc.

$3700 is a LOT for a car with 200,000+ miles to it, even if it is a Honda. I would be skeptical - do a full vehicle check and talk to the owner.

Start it, drive it around. I suggest following my source for more tips.

Not a chance. I don't even have 100,000 on my 99.

Check the service records and for repairs. If the motor is solid with no smoke, and the tail pipe is gray, good tires, interior ok, every thing works and is taged and inspected, you might give that for it. Try for $3000.00 cash Good luck. Also check the Blue Book for what its worth. Go to Kellybluebook.com

I wouldn't. Looking into my crystal ball I see that things are going to start going wrong on that car--ah, yes, big things--oh dear, tsk, tsk, expensive things.
