So I want to buy a used accord?

I am looking to buy a used Honda accord and I have a couple of questions, but first I should tell you about me. I am a 19 year old female (will be 20 in November). I am in college. I am unemployed. I either want a 2005 or 2006. I live and go to school in New York City. My mother doesn't drive so I have to get everything in my name.1. Do the light thats on the top of the trunk that is on the 2006 model come on the 2005 model?2. Is the Honda accord a good choice for me?3. I only have $2000 dollars for a down payment. Is it smart to finance it? My mother said she will pay the bills every month. Or should I save more? If so, How much more should I save?4. Does it cost to more to insure Accords?5. Are there any other differences between the 2005 accords and the 2006 accords? Thanks in advance!

as a college student with no job it is best not to go into debt for a car . try to find a good used car that you can afford for now , as the money / job comes in you can trade up .save up the little bit that you can until you can get the better car. also think about the cost for insurance .if a car is financed it usually has to have full coverage!

To answer your questions...1) Yes2) No (Because you have no job (if your mother pays for it..still you have no job...who's paying for gas all the time?) but it will be a reliable vehicle...depending what 'options' yours comes with, it'll last you a long time)3) Im not sure...but do your research 4) Im not sure either....I dont buy new cars, i buy older cars ('88-'99) and make them even more reliable5) Not really...just maybe some VERY minor cosmetic and mechanical differences but again, not really
