sunroof or no sunroof?

my dad and i are going to buy a new honda civic but he is absolutely against getting a sunroof.

he thinks that the sunroof may leak and is worried about not being able to get it insured. are his arguments reasonable? the car is only going to be driven in the suburbs.

I think ur dad's aguments r not reasonable if its only driven in the suburbs then having a sunroof would be nice but if it rains or snows, and you put ur car in the garage then the water or snow would not get it but if you leave your car on the drive way then you could put like some sort of tarp on it! best of luck

I have a 2003 Honda Accord coupe with a full moon roof and it works perfectly and is completely sealed when it is closed. Insurance has nothing to do with insurance. Having a moonroof is so much fun and it adds a great feature to your car. I would totally recommend a moonroof. Honda's are built so well and the moonroof will not leak. So many of my friends have Honda's with moonroofs and NOT ONE of them have ever had a problem! Good luck!
