I recently had some transmission problems (turned out to be a selinoid) and I had to "top off" my fluid with some Pennzoil ATF that's "for use in vehicles previously servicable by Dexron III/Mercon brands." Is this okay or do I need to have my transmission serviced (filter and fluid replaced)?































Thanks for any info.















No owners manual. Was 200 miles from home in the middle of nowhere when it messed up. Had to us what I could find. Only used about 1/2 a quart.
