Why did Honda screw up the 8th Generation Accord?

I dont understand why thet messed it up. it is ugly, overpriced, overpowered, and oversized. I drive a 7th generation coupe and i think so far this generation is the best. Anyone agree with me?

I own the 7th generation and the 8th generation Accords (both saloons). My input on the Looks front is...Yes, the older one has a more sporty, streamlined missile look, whereas the new one feels more like a Rolls Royce (not literally) with a big huge front. Probably that is what Honda was aiming at, instead of giving it a sporty look. If you look at the new Camry, you will see how the 8th generation Accord has a somewhat similar body shape with the cab-forward body design. I guess Honda just wanted to change the image of the car from a sporty luxury vehicle to extreme luxury...get the jist?

On the Performance end...i own both cars in the 4 cylinder models (note: this is after test driving the V6). i have not been able to simply understand what people want to do with more and more power that V6 gives...you still have the same speed limit. if you get kicks with a "0-60 in 8.0" or something...GET A SPORTS CAR U IDIOT...not a FAMILY SALOON!!!

i agree that the size has also increased...but then...all automobile manufacturers have the idea that people will obviously love bigger and bigger size (after concealing the mpg to a certain extent). and also not to forget, isn't it a ready excuse for any company to increase the price!!!
