Why would My 2001 honda accord radiator fan still runs after the car is turned off

in the summertime ? This only happens in the warm weather and is it something that should be checked out - one mechanic said it was ok and nothing was wrong.

When you shut off your car the water in your car has to cool off then your fan will stop.
