'89 Integra DOHC Engine in a '87 CRX Si
Hey Guys
I'm looking to buy a '87 CRX Si. The owner told me it was a carb car but he swaped the engine to a '89 Integra ls 1.6L DOHC non-vtec PGM-FI. Is this a proper swap or will I have a ton of problems with it? What should I look for? and will I have a problem passing the e-test? Any help is greatly appreciated, Pete |
e test will fail :ohwell:

actually due to it being a newer swap it should pass as long as the obd0 wiring to the ecu was done right and there is no faulty sensors or CEL blah blah....

Just get a fake E-Test...I mean the car is so old it should be the last one its ever getting. Then when the Etest is done pull the cat off and Run a test pipe.E-Test's are :bs: . Just a GOVT cash grab.
