pissed off bumble bee sound any ideas? so im lookin for a deeper sounding exhaust, but i am completely new to the import cars so i dont have any idea what would sound good

so the car has an aftermarket intake...and will have a header when i do the exhaust...

first you gotta have stuff that makes something more then stock power.

an after market air intake at least.

I'd say try to get a kit with a whole downpipe, that'd help the deeper sound

try this, I've been using this combination for years..

re do your exhaust system.. at least a 2" setup.. all motor stock.. or whatever..

purchase a "cherry bomb" resonator, get the longest one there is, mine was 28" long, and get a nice muffler.. a thermal research... or.. greddy.. something name brand, not one you can see right thru.. get something that is 'baffled' on the inside of the muffler. (more back pressure).

this combination flows really well. plus with the addition of the cherry bomb, it muffels the sound. think of it like this.. your car and every OEM stock car has a resonator on their exhaust. the thing is, is that when people (kids) want to put a "race(see thru cheap)" muffler on their cars, the shops usually cut that resonator off and you get that annoying bumble bee effect. so, your going to put another resonator back on your car.

good luck.
