95 honda civic dx hatchback, is it my transmission?

i own an automatic 95 honda civic dx hatch and i recently believe i had a problem with my transmission because as i would drive, my car felt like it would not change gears on its own, it seems like it would stay stuck on 1st or 2nd gear and sounded really forced and i could only go about 10mph, i took it to a mechanic and he clearly told me it was my transmission so he ended up changing it and putting a new one into it, about a week later it did the same thing all over again and i was wondering if it was my really transmission or is it something else i should focus on? i checked under my car and i saw signs of my transmission fluid possibly leaking because it was on the outer case, could that mean something? when i checked my transmission fluid level it was still on the margin on the dip stick and i could see it has some in there...can any one help with my problem i would greatly appreciate your help thanks.there is actually no engine check light on and yes i do have a warranty on the tranny lol

first I hope that u have a warranty on the new tranny, But if its leaking fluid that could be the cause, sometimes the dipstick isnt always accurate especially when theres a potential problem. if ur car has a computer for the tranny I would get it checked out it could be send bad signals at the shift intervels. Is there a check engine light? You can also go around online and ask mechanics about certain problems they usually will give u a good answer

It's most likely it is your trans. E.C.U. Need to bring to a Honda Dealer. One of the mechanic should have a extra E.C.U to try out to see if that is the problem
