CAR A CAR AIR CONDITIONER COMPRESSOR be RECONSTRUCTED ?

The technician first told me it had to be replaced and when I told him I thought it was too expensive he told me he could reconstruct it....so he did and the AC now after just one day does not work PLUS the inside of my car windows are covered with an OILY Film.

YES, but it's probably cheaper to buy a new one.

No, an air conditioner compressor can not be reconstructed.. I would sue him for damaging your vehicle

If you have an oily film inside it sounds like your evaporator is ruptured. it is located under or behind the dash inside a plastic housing and looks like a little aluminum radiator inside. If your lucky there may be a hose union inside that just needs a new o-ring, also at the evaporator. Overcharging with coolant can cause a rupture.
