Cold air intake!

Hey guys,
Purchased Honda civic si-g 03 and startin to mod it slowly. Looking for a good cold air in take to install, which one would you prefer??

Also will be getting a turbo installed not anytime soon, will the factory engine work with turbo??

Order one off ebay and put a K&N filter on it:smilie_da

Its stupid paying $250-300 for a CAI...

Stay the HELL away from K&N

Go with either AEM or Amsoil air filter. :headbang:

mikey82 03-14-2007 08:44 PM

aem v2 (y)

aem v2 is the only way to go.. make sure you put a green filter on it tho.

turbojizer 05-12-2007 06:17 PM

yes
u can turbo ur prest engine .. Low boost that is...
turbo=Harsh for ur engine...

But if ur turboing.... you cant have a Intake.. ur gunna have to get rid of it..

So save ur money.

turbo means MAJOR stress on the internals if you're not careful... check out d-series.org... lots of guys getting amazing numbers with d-engines... NA and boosted... great advice and tech there too... not that this is a bad board... :D

soloman_will 05-17-2007 07:39 PM

I agree with DDM, I'd ebay the intake and then put a good (K&N or AEM) filter on it.

saugashan 05-21-2007 01:54 PM

ingen or aem v2 but its a waste of money d17s dont respond to mods

suprateacher 06-13-2007 02:14 PM

i'd go with the aem setup...they are pretty good and have the reputation to back them upo

if u r turboing save ur money
