Digital Odometer FIX?

I have a 2003 Honda Civic with 86,000KM, I disconnected the battery when i connected it, the odometer was off...after 1-2 kms of driving it came back on and its showing 100,000KM...I dont wanna make it look less than what it was...is there any system i can buy to make it 86,000KM again...or does any one know of a place in Vancouver, BC that can fix digital odometers?I dont want any stupid answers like its illigal or like that...gimme an answer that can help me...thanks

It sounds like a NVM chip has malfunctioned. (Non-Volatile memory). These are only available at the dealer and should be installed by the dealer.(I hate recommending the dealer, but in this case that is really best.) You will probably need documentation to prove your original miles, like oil change reciepts that are dated & have your miles listed.
