HAVING PROBLEMS WITH minime MOTOR
 
HEy guys if anyone can help out plz what happend is i got a d15b in my 92 hatch and its running ritch but what happened today was i was driving in vtec in 3rd gear and right before the rpms hit 7k it kicked back to 5k and engine light turned on but when i turned off and on the car the engine light went off lol stupid me on if anyone might know the problem plz answer :dunno:

YEAH MAN THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IM STUPID FOR TURNING IT OFF I FORGOT THE READ THE engine light i think it might be the fuel i dunno yet :dunno:

alright well if it doesn't happen continously i am sure its not a big deal, but it would still be nice to find out. what indication do you have that it is running rich?

is it hooked up to a wideband O2? it just becomes a light show if it's not hooked up to a wide band.

IT IS HOOCKED UP TO A WIDEBAND O2 I HAVE THE AEM ONE LOL its just i dunno why the car kicked back from 7k to 5k im going to check it out this weekend i think the fuel might have cut out but i dunno :dunno:

that was a legitement question buddy, some could say plugs condition, exhaust colour etc.

i would check ignition timing aswell as a/f ratios. I have had a similar problem before due to ignition timing.
