How often do you change oil in Honda?
My sister works at the honda dealership. Both her and the manual says to change the oil in a 6 cyl after 7,000 miles and in a 4 cyl. after 10,000 miles. I have a 2005 4 cyl. and have driven maybe 4500 miles without an oil change. It's at around 58k total miles on the car. It just worries me to go very long. But I know Hondas have great engines and last a long long long time with the right maintanence. Should I change it 3k to 5k miles just to be on the safe side? How often do you change yours?

3 months 3,000 miles if you want it to run the best.
It depends on the year of the car. The rule of tumb is every 3K miles.
your best bet is to do what the manual says
Personaly I change the oil in my cars at 5k intervals. The oil companies say 3K and the manufacturer says 7500. I decided that doing it at 5k would make it really easy to keep track of. 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 etc.......

The 3 mounth 3000 mile stuff is the oil companys trying to get you to buy more oil so they can make more money. Go by what your manual says.
I would say about 3k/5k
It depends its supposed to be 3000 miles every oil change but I've heard that new cars not so frequent. My new Honda Fit the dealership said every 5k miles.

Follow the guidelines in the owners manual. If you change it early you are just wasting money. But if you have money to waste and it makes you feel better, change it as often as you want.
3000 to 5000 miles is what most people do.oil change is the life of the motor.
Every 8000 km
