increase boost w/ a supercharger?
 

is it possible to increase boost w/ a supercharger like you can with a turbocharger? i know they're not the same applications as far as forced induction but i'm new to this..

Sure, you just change pulleys on the supercharger. A smaller pulley will make the vanes turn faster, and you will get a higher boost pressure.Just make sure the engine can handle it!

yes!my friend just boosted his supercharged MINI Cooper S.if you wanna boost a Supercharger, you gotta make it spin faster and it squashes that air in faster.if you wanna spin it faster, you gotta install a smaller pulley.(just like a bicycle backwheel has big gears for slow speed and small gears for fast speed)The supercharger is running because it's attached to a rubber belt. The rubber belt is turning the supercharger because the belt is attached to a pulley just like alternator, water pump, power steering pump, and a/c compressor.
