Integra b20 vtec vs. Integra Type R

Just a quick question, my cousin wants to do a swap into his integra. just trying to find out if there is a general consensus on the knowledgeable opinion on these swaps.
should he go:
a)b20/Type R head
b)Stock Type R

Stock for stock which setup would generate more power.

the b20 w/ type r head will give you more power but its less reliable. A type r is a factor built honda motor therefore making very reliable.

i think he is gonna go with the b20 vtec

k is the new b. why not do a k24 bottom end with a k20 head? it bolts right up.

yeah thats true a stock R might be more reliable but if you build your b20 properly it will be just as reliable plus alot more torque and i take torque anyday over hoursepower!!!

get the type r motor man its wayyyy more reliable...its built to be the way it is whereas the b20 isnt..also less work..
