there is two links to get you started and familarize yourself with lsvtec possibilities.

I know some companies make an ls-vtec kit so no maching is neccessary because they give you all the fittings and such. I beleive it is made by golden eagle and possibly other companies.

what exactly do you mean how much would a swap cost me? labour is usually 500-1000 at shops for installation. If you are talking about engine costs and getting it into the car then what motor are you talking about? lsvtec? I am not totally sure what you are looking at cost with for an Lsvtec as i guess it depends how resourceful you are.

it all depends on what you put in it and what work you get done. if you want to rev up to 8k without wondering if it'll be the last time you do it, i'd get the bottom end rebuilt with ACL bearings and ARP bolts.

i'm building one over the next few months and i've either already got my parts or know exactly what i'm getting.
