any1 know how much hp a header would give a stock 93 int 1.8. What are my options to gain pwr without turbo or any major internal mods. I still need it to be very very reliable.

Throw on a full exhaust and an intake and youll notice a difference....other than that theres not really much you can do for cheap

a hedder would probably add aroun 5-10 horsepower depending on what style you choose

i've seen Rage headers give 20hp.

4-1 give you more top end and 4-2-1 give more low-mid range.

check this thread. http://www.gtcars.ca/online/honda-ac...-hatch-si.html you could follow what i said and still be light on the wallet.

wow thats just a waste for a stock motor......you put a header on an stock american car and you can make some good ponys but not on these japs nope But u can't beat a jap for a winter beater......I guess I'll just keep it a slow winter beater, besides that why I bought the car I was not expecting much.

thanks guys

if its a beater i wouldn't even touch it! If it needs to be very vary relaible keep it OEM. You could do bolt on and such, but in the end why would you if your not going anywhere with it.:dunno:

turbo it and keep it at like 6 pounds , it will go forever and be fairly peppy:smilie_da
