No heat!

Hey everyone. I just replaced the heater core and then added all the coolant and turned my car on. She runs great. I checked the hoses going to the heater and out, they are both warm. The heat controls are on hot and yet no warm air is coming out, just really cold air. What could this be?

purge the cooling system. if that doesn't work, change the thermostat.

does the valve on the 1 heater hose actually open/close when you move the temp selector inside the car?

Could also be the thermostat like Mark said, check to see if your lower rad hose gets hot when the cars at normal operating temperature.

look at the hoses at the firewal. there should be two. once the engine is warm touch em and see if they are warm. if not, thermostat is stuck open. gl
