SiRII This engine is known as the B16A2 engine and can be found in 99 and 00 USDM Civic SiR's. This engine is capable of 160hp. Type R I think you are referring to a Acura Integra Type R engine. Known as the B18C5, its a potent little engine that makes in excess of 180-190hp (Im sure a Honda Techy may correct me on the exact amount). It is slightly larger than the b16a1 and a2 because it is a 1.8 litre engine. All three engines have always been in high demand but can be found.....for a price. In terms of which engine is "better", it really depends on what you plan to do to the engine. |
