Throwout bearing...

if its the clutch pedal assembly itself then its most likely an overcentre spring.

Get under your dash with a can of wd40 and look for a spring attaching the clutch pedal to the underside of the dash, then proceed to spray the hell out of it.

definately not the throw out bearing making this noise. I am going to have to agree with you that it is the return spring at the pedal assembly that needs attention.

You're the biggest idiot. All your posts are worthless and ridiculously stupid. Give up man..
For wd40 to do 'nothing but hold dust', it would have to be thick and heavy grease.. but wd40 is the complete opposite of that. Stop making senseless and misleading posts, like the one where you beat a bike with your shitbox.
Ignore the idiot, he has a rep. of talking garbage, and try wd40, it should help.

I can vouch for the TOB.

I'm not sure about the honda platform though...

I see the poster who made that comment owns a ford. On the contour/cougar platform, "sqeaking" is the first sign of failure.

If it's the pedal, lubricate.

Can you be a little more specific? Is it squeaky clutch or clutch pedal squeak...

Truth.

He needs to tell us if it is the pedal making noise or the clutch itself.

Already had to replace an overcentre spring in my Probe.

This is all true we need more information.

WD40 stand for water diplacement and 40 is the weight of the oil/chemical constructed. This is good for repelling water to stop forther encouraging it to get worse. I would use lithium white greae in an aresol form. However we need more information about where the noise is coming from:dunno:
