What is the 1000xr/min on a honda civic ? All I know is that it increases...
...as you accelerate.? When you are braking should it be at zero? What happens if you are at park and the 1000xr/min is up to 2?

well i wouldnt own a honda, so idk
that is your tachometer. it is just telling how many revolutions per minute you engine is running. it should idle in park at about 1. it may idle higher depending on how cold the engine is.
It is refering to engine revolutions per minute. 1000 mulitplied by the number the needle is pointing to equals engine RPM. 2000rpm in park sounds a little high but I wouldnt worry about it.

It is your tachometer (TACH) Revolutions Per Minute if your car runs fine and no other problems I would ignore it.
Is this a Hybrid Civic?????The only reason a Tach would show 0 RPM is when the engine is off. Which I would understand on a Hybrid Vehicle under braking.2000 RPM at park....is your foot still on the gas?
