Tell you what...if you are replacing it yourself, call around to autozone, o'reilly's, and advanced auto parts to compare prices.If you are having th work done by someone else, get 3 or 4 estimates.The work to make the change is super simple. If you own a set of wrenches and screw drivers, you should have no problems.

if you are sure that it is the fan, then i would estimate that you could get a replacement at a pull-a-part place for about $50. You should have it checked though, because it could just be the relay that tells the fan to come on after you kill the ignition.Also, check the connections for where the fans plug in. I remember on my 89 that the plastic connector got busted, and I had to fix it.
