Whats the best size rim to put on a 1998 Honda Civic?
The stock wheels are 14"s. I know that the larger rim, the skinnier the tire. I was told that its not that good to have too skinny of tires. I was thinking about maybe getting 15" rims, so I would have something thats at least larger, but not have to worry that much about the tires getting to skinny. Please leave any suggestions, Im new to this. Thanks.

I have 16" wheels and they are big enough that you can tell the difference, but they still feel safe. They look great!

Putting larger rims and tires on your car could just posibly indanger your braking and handling....Check with a mechanic !!

Well if you want to add rims (wheels) to your civic for looks 17"s will make the perfect size. If your looking for safety and traction then go with size 16" and get your tire size width at 205.
**205's make the best traction tires for Civics and don't stick out the fenders as much as other wider tires. |
Stock if you want the most acceleration and MPG.

well that good but if the tire are to big you might cut the tire and cause a blowout

I think 16" wheel will look good.
