whats better a vortech supercharger or a jackson racing.

IMO, vortech... only because the name has been around for ages, tested and tried.. cant say i know much about Jackson Racing except that when i hear its name, it think Honda :D

Depends what your looking for

On a small motor imo a Roots style (JRSC) is better as it gives more low end power than a centrifical charger such as the Vortech. However on a car that does not need extra low end torque Mustangs and what not a Centrifical is better.


If you get a JRSC make sure you get a M62 the M45 kits are just to small and offer no real power increase up top. The M62 Flows approx 50% more than a M45. Giving much more power potential. Also keep in mind the Roots style might be difficult to aftercool.


Do you want a car that pulls hard up top or has midrange? What are you going to use the car for.

AutoX a JRSC is better drag racing a Vortech is prob better.
