where to buy clutch?

Hey, i was looking for a place to buy a clutch for my friend's integra ls which i will turbo. He wants to get a clutch for max $300. I found him an exedy stg1 race clutch on ebay for 220us + shipping, but i was lookin for a place in gta to get this clutch for about the same price. Anyone know a good clutch supplier with decent prices? Thanks in advance.

how much hp is that stage 1 clutch is deighned for?

jdmgsr 04-09-2005 04:56 PM

300, which i think is enough. we could go with stg 2, but stg 2 is not comfortable to drive.

buy a stage 3 clutch and lubricate it. Then it will be comfortable to drive :thumbsup

I have a stage 3 and its no stiffer than my stock one.. I guess my stock one was just really stiff..

I know people with the same kinda car as me with stage 4 and 5 and say its really the same deal no stiffer than stock.. so it cant be that bad

I would recomend a full face kevlar disk with a custom pressure plate. These clutches take a beating. I had one on me mustang for 4 seasons with-out any problems. I can't remember the company's name, but they were located in Hamilton. It was a rather large trucking company parts supplier. If you contact some of the large company's in the hamilton area, Im sure you'll find the one im speaking of. The name started with Brant........ damn i forget.

Oh yeah, if your going to boost it, don't be cheap with drivetrain parts. You'll regret it. You should expect to pay around 400CDN for the kevlar disc and plate that im speaking of.

Stock clutch disk with an upgraded pressure plate will do just fine
