Which will drive and look better?

I drive a 1998 Honda Accord and I am planning on purchasing some rims. I am not sure wether to get 17 or 18" because I am not sure how the ride differs between the two sizes. I would like that to be explained. Also I am stuck between two rims one is a 17" that I am in love with :http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z...krt52lg.jpgThe other is an 18" that I adore:http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z...ack_black.jpgI am not sure which would provide the best drive the 17 or the 18. If you could help me out with that I would greatly appreciate it and also tell me which rim (out of the two I posted) that YOU prefer. Thank you in advance! \I am trying to go for a "murdered out" look. Can I go up to 19" in an Accord?

If you want to respect, go for the bigger rims, the bigger the better, make sure you get your ride lowered too! about 20-30mm Drop will do nicley! however if you drive fast, the smaller rims will be better.!^_^

well the ride quality is a tire issue not the rim. if your conscerned about ride qualtiy in a 17 or 18 inch rim good tires are Bridgestone Potenza series or the firehawk series of tires these are the tires manufactures use on Vettes and other highperformance cars. I would go search on line for vehciles that come from the factory with 17in or 18 in wheels similar in dimension to what your buying and see what kind of tires they useBut you need to be conscerned with tires if your worried about ride quality

go for the 17s its usually not good to get THAT much larger rims than stock but either is fine

I had a 99 accord which is the same exact car and i had 17" rims with 215/45/R17 tires. It rode smooth, not too bumpy.

measure the circunference of the tires on it now, then measure the ones you are considering, as long as it is about the same you are ok, if it is much larger or smaller, your speedometer will be off. Don't go to a larger circumference or you will lose clearence and the tires may scrub the fenders. Be sure the wheel offset is the same also, for clearence with your brakes on the inside and the fenders too. Good luck.
