Would installing 18" wheels on a 2007 Honda civic ex affect my speedometer and

odometer? i'm afarid the alinament will be off or the ride will be compromised>

Or will i need a ultra low profile tire.

yup, the bigger the rims the thinner the profile of the tire has to be for the spedo to be correct

Richard D 02-03-2008 08:03 AM

Unless the diameter comes out same as stock wheels and tires

Why waste your money? Are you thinking that they will get you more respect? Do you think they will get you laid? Grow up! There are better things to do with the money you haven"t given to the government than smoke it or buy shiny stuff, man. Make it count! Have an experience, or give someone else a smile. That two grand is pure joy in the mind of the patient one.

imported_jonboy2five 02-03-2008 10:55 AM

the ride will be stiffer due to the lack of flex in the thin sidewalls of the new tires. the speedo will only be off if you dont match the diameter of the stock wheel and tire set-up. go with 17s, they will cost less and not compromise the ride so much...
