1999 honda civic dx - a/c cycling on/off about every 10 seconds?
 

when I have my a/c on, I can feel the compressor turn on and off about every 10 seconds. I just had a flush and refill done and its still doing it. I asked them to check for leaks so I hope they did that. It isn't blowing as cold as it used to either.















Is there a switch/sensor on the compressor that needs to be replaced? I seem to recall that being the next step after checking the freon level.

What sort of flush did you have? Because the freon needs to be changed and charged I think.

mine did that after refilling it, the pressure needs to be brought up, and it will stop. i have a 93 del sol

if its blowing cold its fine it susposed to do that depends on the setting u got if u put on hight it wont cycle on and off it sit not that cold add another can of freon in it i hope they changed the orfice tube and reciver and dryer
