is a 200000 miles 97 honda civic bad?
the price is 2000$ which sounds supercheap for a 97 honda civic, but what about that 200000 miles? is that too bad?

That car's about done.A meticulously maintained car barely gets 300,000 before it becomes a smoker. A car treated to only mediocre maintenance is lucky to see 200,000. If that car starts cold and doesn't give off any hint of smoke, it might be worth buying, but you're not going to get more than 100k out of it before you'll be needing another power plant. And that doesn't say anything about the tranny!.

pass on this one.

It is a decent price, but it depends on the condition it's in. For example, on a 97 honda civic EX coupe 2-door in GOOD condition, it would value at about $4,400 if it had 200,000 miles on it.you can look it up on the link below.

Try to get the price around $1500.I had an Integra (very similiar to a Civic), and it got 265,000 miles before I traded it in for a Civic. If you can get the price down, buy the car.

I would go for something a bit pricier with less miles.
