2005 Honda Civic LX sedan...?
 

I'm looking to buy my first car. I found a silver 2005 honda civic lx sedan that i liked, for $13,000, with 31,000 miles. does anybody own one? if so, how do you like it? any major/minor problems with it? Thanks for the help! :)

civics are naturally good cars. they are very reliable, great resale value and great gas mileage. the only thing is... they are slow. i guess you cant ask too much though since its good on gas...

hmm..if you go to a dealership right now and look at the 2007 honda civic lx (it was redesigned in 2006).. there is a good chance you can find 1 with little or no miles on it for about $5,000 more. I've been doing a lot of research with the civics, as my family owns 1 and is looking into buying another one.. and all of the "newer" used civics are always about 30,000-50,000 more miles and about $5,000 less... We are leaning more towards buying a brand new 1 for a little more money, because that way we will get the dealership warranty and we will be sure that there is no bad history with the car....
