94 Honda Civic EX overheats after 250-300 miles?
My daughter just bought a 94 Civic Ex with 175,000 miles. The previous owner said that the only problems he has is that when he drives the car for long periods of time (about a 250-300 miles) it overheats. He said that he has taken it to mechanic several times and they can't figure out what is causing this. It has a new thermostat and I noticed a new radiator. Any ideas what would cause this?

Check the fan motor. It should be turning on when the engine starts getting warmer. If it doesn't turn on, it's either the motor itself, the wiring, or a fuse.
