95 Honda civic over heated and cracked my radiator !?

There was still antifreeze in the side container ? I was thinking waterpump or fan? I know I have to replace the radiator now but should I check anything else? please help !

you should also check the outlet hose on the radiator because if the radiator cracked it means two things. 1). The radiator got too hot. Normally not the issue because the engine tends to go before the radiator does in the case of extreme heat. The other thing you have to consider is was the antifreeze mixture correct for the tempatures it was exposed to. If the antifreeze had too much water in it and the tempature got below freezing then there is only a slim chance the radiator WOULD NOT crack. When antifreeze is the wrong mixture and freezes one of the luckiest things on the car to crack would be the radiator because the engine block would be too expensive to raplace and the heating unit for your cabing heater would be too much of a pain in the but. The radiator you could pick up cheap from a junkyard and do it yourself. It wouldn't be the waterpump because it's main job it to remove heat from the engine, not the radiator. The only way to tell if it is the fan is once you get the radiator fixed to start the car and wait for the fan to spin. If the engine temp on your guage on the dash starts to rise and the fan hasn't kicked in yet it most likely needs to be replaced.
